Unkempt, outdated, loud
Outdated, unkempt, loudThe sanitary facilities are old but were cleanFlorence feels like a day trip awayThe approach is poor - Warning after the bridge, about 300m before the entrance to the square, there is a thick branch at about 3.4m height

Good connection to the city center but nothing else
Campsite on a large area which is very unkempt. Showers and toilets are sufficiently available and tidy. Paths are in very poor condition. Reception is unfortunately staffed by only one person, leading to long service wait times. Check-in, check-out, bus ticket sales, information about the shuttle b… More

Too Bad
The situation is fine, the areas are quite spacious, but unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are catastrophic. The latter are dilapidated and in some cases so run down that even cleaning has no effect anymore. There are cobwebs everywhere, even in the morning the showers are full of dirt on the f… More

Doesn't deserve a mention as an ADAC campsite
Unclean, noisy from the highway, a market that offers nothing, Wi-Fi only in the reception and bar area, overpriced for the few market products - we expected more. Only a manageable swimming pool, but immediately with a compulsory swimming cap 2. Restaurant with a limited selection, only pizza… More

In addition to the unique surroundings of Firenze Certosa Camping, which are characterised by typical Florentine hills and idyllic vineyards, the campsite's outdoor pool is a particular highlight. Nature lovers are in the right place at this campsite thanks to the idyllic landscape and those interested in culture will also get their money's worth thanks to the proximity to beautiful Florence.
Firenze Certosa Camping is located in Bottai in idyllic Tuscany, just 10 kilometres from Florence. Despite its central location, you are surrounded by idyllic nature. Olive trees, oaks, vineyards, olive groves and picturesque winding roads adorn the landscape. The 280 pitches and almost 40 rental accommodations are located on a gentle hill from which holidaymakers can enjoy a fantastic view of the historic Certosa San Lorenzo di Galluzzo monastery. The outdoor pool is surrounded by tall trees, which create a relaxed atmosphere. Here, travellers can read a book under the parasol, sunbathe on a deckchair and refresh themselves in the pleasantly cool water. In addition to the large pool, there is a smaller and shallower pool especially for children, where they can splash around and have fun. The campsite also boasts a playground. The golf course, pool table and table football table promise fun and entertainment for young and old. An on-site mini-market with all the necessary groceries and traditional products is ideal for those who enjoy cooking. Those who prefer a restaurant visit the campsite's own restaurant Isola Verde with its typical Italian flair. It delights campers with classic Tuscan dishes such as pizza and fish specialities. For an aperitif or cocktail in the evening, holidaymakers can visit the campsite's own bar.
The Chianti region with its charming villages, castles and churches is located in the vicinity of Firenze Certosa Camping. This chain of hills is famous for the traditional Chianti red wine. Numerous traditional wineries, such as the historic Castello dei Rampolla, promise premium quality, which can be savoured during a wine tasting. Extensive hikes and bike tours are also on the programme here. There are also day trips to the centre of Florence. There is a bus stop 500 metres from the campsite, from where you can easily reach the old town in around 20 minutes. This culturally rich city attracts visitors with its famous Franciscan church, the Basilica di Santa Croce, and the architecturally interesting Palazzo Vecchio. The Ponte Vecchio is the oldest bridge over the River Arno.
