Flat grassy terrain with occasional young deciduous trees around a small bathing lake in a rural setting.

Stay away from Friesland Camping – Mold, Feces, and Ve
I cant even give this camping site one star. It was absolute horror The sanitary building was a moldy cave the health department urgently needs to check it out. The toilets were full of fecal remains and unacceptable. In 30 years of camping, Ive never seen anything so disgusting.Around the sa… More

Top Campsite and Very Animal-Friendly
We were there in May 23 with our parrots Leo Lilly. They were received so warmly, it was incredible. The place is very well-kept and clean. Camping Friesland is located between Jever and Schortens, just 15 kilometres from the North Sea beach. With 125 pitches and a large meadow for tents, the site has plenty of space. Thanks to the natural surroundings with young and old trees, camping holidays here are particularly close to nature. The most popular leisure activity is swimming in the large natural outdoor pool.
